Now it feels like summer
Summers on the Rio Grande Scenic Railroad look like green mountains and blue skies, taste like hot barbeque and local craft beer, and sound like train whistles and music. Summer concerts run every weekend on a stretch from June to the last warm days of September. We can’t think of a better way to spend a summer’s day then riding on historic rails up a rugged Rocky Mountain pass to a meadow at 9400 ft for an outdoor concert with award winning acts. The 2016 Mountain Rails Live concert line-up includes Trout Fishing in America, Shenandoah, John McCutcheon, Bellamy Brothers, Michael Martin Murphy, Peter Yarrow and many more. Returning riders made pilgrimages to hear their favorites or try a different act and new guests discover the concerts and see what they’ve been missing all these years. Come try a concert and start your summer off on the right track.
